Get Rid of your Metal Clutter!

Almost everything around the house is recyclable. Homeowners, who avidly recycle their garbage and unusable items, get a good price for their junk. Junk includes: air conditioners, bathtubs, aluminum cans, bicycles, microwaves, copper pipes, cast iron, hot water heaters, pots and pans, brass, motors, automotive parts and aluminum steel ladders. Also, cash is a good reason to clean out the yard or garage.

Depending on what type of metal can vary the cost too. There are two different kinds of metal: ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal. Ferrous metal is iron while non-ferrous metal is aluminum and copper. Non-ferrous scrap metal can be sold at a higher price than the ferrous scrap metal. If you don’t know whether you have ferrous or non-ferrous, Marietta Recycling Center can determine the difference by using a magnet.

Thanks for the listed item samples, kinda puts things into perspective. Is there much of a benefit for me to separate the metals from plastic, or do you provide that service? I mean, if I make more money doing the separation I would like to know that in advance.

Hi Tim,

we can pay cash for all scrap metals except bare copper, catalytic covertors, and concrete aluminum forms. All other metals you can recieve cash

Hi Allen,

yes you will recieve more money for metals that are seperated from non-mettalics. This is to include any types of non-ferrous. example- you will recieve more for a aluminum car wheel if you take off the wheel wieghts and any steel.

Residential Atlanta Scrap Service

Does your company offer a residential service in the Atlanta area for picking up scrap metal? I understand that there has to be some sort of volume to make it worth your companies time, or a service fee. Just was wondering if your recycling company offered this service.

thanks for the question. We currently only service large volume scrap metal generators. Such as manufacturers and demolition companies. Please feel free to bring your scrap to us. We will be more than happy to purchase your scrap metals from you.
