To keep our compliant status with County, State and Federal EPA guidelines we are not able to accept the following items or items containing the following.  Although keeping compliant with government EPA guidelines is extremely important.  There are also some items that we may not accept because it may be dangerous for us or the mills to process   Marietta strictly enforces the items that are included in the unacceptable category.  If you have any doubt whether we do or don’t accept a particular item please call on of our friendly buyers.

Unacceptable Items:

• Asbestos
• Oil
• Capacitors
• Light ballast
• Drums and Barrels (55 gallon drums)
• Computer Monitors
• Televisions
• Radioactive items
• Closed or sealed vessels
• Gas tanks (unless it’s drained and brought in on a auto)
• Propane tanks
• Non-metallic items
• Freon Bearing items
• Magnesium
